january twenty-third

hi there. i've been skating for an awfully long time, probably since soon after i started walking. is that important? yes. because, in high school, i went through a skating drought. sad. yes? yes. so over vacation i bought some bauer 3000s so that i could get back into skating. i've been waiting since i was about 14 to buy nice skates, but i didn't want to buy them and outgrow them after a season. but now, i'm done growing, the skates are bought, and they're awesome. well worth the cost, you should buy some....

that's a ridiculously long paragraph, when all i really needed to say was "these are two pictures of my new skates." i might as well say, "i was bored one day on vacation so i took pictures of them." note that these were taken before i actually took the skates out and marked them up.
