october sixth

i kind of like this shot, i'm not really sure why. i took it this may in elkhorn, montana, in a section of town that is full of deserted, mining-era buildings. i like the way the grass is shooting through the spiral, i think it looks neat.

elkhorn's a cool place, my family camped there en route to vancouver island (see countless other pictures on this site). it turned out a bit colder than expected--we woke up with snow on our tents. sweet!
