these pictures seem like something out of a very, very strange dream. they're young pine boughs on a path somewhere in on vancouver island. they were only about 1" long--they looked like something i'd eat if i were starving in the woods.
in any case, my mom saw i was taking a picture of them and she said, "oh gross, those look like something from a nightmare!"
i really dig the first shot-- although I be to differ with the "nightmare" quality, I do agree it is dreamlike in its shallow dof, it seems like it would be how you would view things if you were on drugs, so focused on the intricacy. Unfortunately, I'm not experienced in the drug area, so I guess we need to get some experts comments on the matter. Nonetheless, a sick shot!
