this is my friend nate burdick, a standout drummer from uwec's jazz 2. lately he's been playing drums all over the place; last weekend one of his bands opened for 38th parallel at the new union in the twin cities. sweet!
i took this picture after a show in chippewa falls, one not of 38th parallel status. but that's another story for another day...
in any case, i like the composition of this picture, plus it's got a little humor to it.
