quick, where was the star spangled banner written? yes, that's right, fort mchenry in baltimore, maryland. i went there on a rainy june day last year. among other things, they have this massive flag. since it was raining, they took it down because of the "foul weather" or something. i don't understand flag etiquette too well. in any case, i folded up the monstrous flag seen to the right.
this happens to be one of my favorite pictures. but aren't they all?
