lichen

january thirty-first

i think this is an intristically beautiful picture, not because of what i did with it but just because of the subject material. the lichen was growing next to lake wenatchee in central washington state; all i had to do was take the picture.

this photo is on my desktop right now, which is saying something because i rarely put my own art on my computer. i hope you like it as much as i do!
