i've been told that i shoot a lot of orderly, left-brained photos, and i'm starting to embrace that. i bring it up because this is a perfect example of what i like to do. find some object with linear characteristics, then get up close and abstract it somehow. it's really satisfying to me to take something out of its context and use it for my own artistic purposes.
