fall

november second

fall is one of my favorite seasons. i love to sleep with the windows open at night and wake up in 50 degree air. i love how gusty it is, how the sun seems warmer than in the summer. as a photographer, none of these things can be captured by my film. however, fall presents things such as these three pretty leaves and numerous companions.

the first picture was taken in montreal, quebec. the leaf had fallen on this large marble table in the middle of a park, along with convenient raindrops! this picture just begged to be taken.

the second picture was sort of set up. it had some drops of water on it, but i was greedy so i took a few leaves and put their raindrops on the one.

the third is completely real.
