these are a few unique images of a guitar fingerboard. i used one of my favorite techniques, reversing my lens, to achieve the odd macro effect. i like it because it's not perfect like an actual macro lens; for example, in the third photo there is a lot of flare that leaked around the lens and into the body unfocused.
i love the colors in the first photo, and how the cones of out of focus strings shoot off the minute bit of metal in focus. the second and fourth are more straightforward, repetive & aesthetically pleasing forms of light and dark. ha. i mind-tricked you.
