this is my friend david, performing with his band, this modern fire. he's a pretty emotive guy, especially when he's singing, so he was a very interesting subject to photograph.

i used a handheld flash unit and ghosted with one or two second exposures using a bulb setting. depending on the gamma on your monitor, the ghosting on the second may or may not be visible--sorry, there's nothing i can do about it.
