cracked paint

november eighteenth

these two pictures are perfect examples of my favorite photographic trick--shallow depth of field. i love it!

it's obviously paint, i believe on my grandparent's summer home in silver bay, mn. time for a new paint job, i guess. the first picture was taken near dusk, thus the blue tint. the second, midday. different paint, different effects.

interesting.

blue paintorange cementits all good unless you mix them together. :-) speaking of orange cement, ben, you should put that picture in here. it was taken in montreal, but still...

hmm, i don't see the similarity. the paint on the orange cement wasn't cracked at all...plus, it was about 1300 miles away from this paint.

nice thought, though...

you know, absence makes the heart grow fonder. maybe the paints WANT to be together. it's destiny!

that's what you get for bringing up "1300 miles."
