chippewa branches
april second
i took this picture a few months ago as a depth of field study for my photo class. this particular image was for the high depth of field; i'm not sure if it really fit the requirements, but i like taking liberties with guidelines. in case you can't tell, the image is snow on branches over the chippewa river in eau claire. there was plenty of light, so i shot at f22, ~1/30s.
this picture reminds me of snowy grass abstract a lot. both images seem very complicated and chaotic, a bit abstracted from what they really are without being completely out of touch. i like that.
