blazing paint
august twenty-second
i'm a big fan of these two prints, they turned out better than i was expecting. technically speaking, they're kind of interesting. i was working on remodeling my aunt's house when we found these old, dried up latex paint cans in her basement. i kept one and brought my camera and tripod the next day.
the first picture was with normal garage lighting; i like the background of cement, it's an interesting pattern.
the second was illuminated with a flashlight. i used a four second exposure, then moved the flashlight around the camera to light all areas of the can.
interesting!
