these are two of my favorite pictures. i guess i say that a lot...but i really like them. oh, do i say that a lot too? oops.
in any case, both of them were taken from my porch or perhaps my bedroom window. living in the countryside has some very obvious benefits, as you no doubt can appreciate by viewing these pictures.
the first picture was taken with my pentax and a telephoto; the second was taken with my sister's canon rebel g with an 80mm zoom. if you look at the two pictures you can see that the first is actually a portion of the second.
i normally don't take pictures like these because they never capture the experience of a beautiful landscape or beautiful weather. these look pretty good, but they don't sweep you into that landscape, not as if you were actually there. so sometimes i get frustrated, but sometimes things work out and i am satisfied.
i hope you enjoy these at least one half as much as i enjoy them. :)
